Pre-University Training

Preparatory faculty was founded due to increasing interest of students from all over the world in Russian education. It aims at preparing foreign students for entering Russian Universities. Preparatory courses consist of intensive Russian language courses and subject classes. You can take one of the following fields of study:

• Natural sciences;
• Technical and engineering disciplines;
• Medical and biological sciences;
• Economical disciplines;
• Humanities.

You will be able to attend lessons of Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technologies, Engineering Graphics, Literature, Country Study and many others according to your future specialization.

Do not let your poor knowledge of the Russian language prevent you from making the right decision! The training is available whether you speak Russian or not. During the classes you will get knowledge of terminology, written and spoken language and other skills necessary for passing the entrance exams successfully.

The training is carried out in groups of 8 students minimum. We welcome groups of students; individual applications are restricted, though possible and should be discussed personally.

Having completed the course you will get the certificate based on your achievements. You will also take a Russian language state test (TORLF) required for admission to any Higher Educational Establishment in Russia.

Studies at preparatory faculty usually begin at the beginning of the term (September or February) and last minimum one year.

Documents required for admission to Preparatory Faculty:

• copy of student?s passport;
• copy of legalized certificate on complete secondary education with the supplement;
• notarized translation of certificate on complete secondary education with the supplement (must be presented on request);
• certificate of equivalence (must be presented on request).
