Business courses

We propose to take two of the Business courses from the list, a capstone seminar and a Russian language course.

Political Environment

The course introduces students to Russian government structure, state role, interest groups, political parties and the policy-making process.

Russian Business Culture

The course introduces students to socio-cultural dimensions that have a direct impact on business operations in Russia. It will increase students' understanding of Russian business culture, the students will develop an awareness of values and attitudes prevalent in the Russian business community.

Regional and International Organizations in Russia.

The course will explore the role and operation of regional and international organizations in Russia. The students will be introduced to regional political and economic trends, regional peace and conflicts, and the place of the region in the global system.

Russian Economic Environment

The students will discuss Russian economic environment, economic policies, current economy patterns, and major industries in Russia.

Russian Legal Environment

The course will cover major regional trade barriers, investment policies, and intellectual property protection issues in Russia.

Capstone workshop: Regional Business Environment

The seminar is designed to make a general review of the Business environment issues in Russia, it will give the students the opportunity to compare their experiences in their home country and in Russia, to touch upon various aspects of the problem. Students will earn 3 ECTS credits for a 15-day course.
